Beautiful Pickwick Lake located in three states: Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.

Pickwick has ideal smallmouth habitat containing numerous creek and river ledges, with scattered spawning flats and humps. Depths of 70 to 80 feet deep are found near the Pickwick dam area, with depths averaging 40 to 60 feet in the snake-like river channel running from Pickwick dam to Wilson dam.

This lake can be fished the year round, with the best opportunity for trophy smallmouth in the months of February through April and October through December.

Pickwick Lake is located in the N.W. corner of Alabama, connecting to the N. E. corner of Mississippi and S. W. west Tennessee boarders. The lake is operated and controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

A highly regarded trophy smallmouth lake, as well as a home for great numbers of largemouth bass, catfish, sauger, stripe, crappie and bream thrive in this Al. Tn. And Miss impoundment.
